Its performance at low speeds is equally impressive, providing a sustained 187 Amps at idle (3,000 Alt RPM), ensuring your batteries are being rapidly replenished without the need to increase engine revs at anchor.
• Superior Thermal Engineering: Generating nearly 300 Amps of current creates significant heat. The Zeus 275L manages this through an “exterior-mounted” rectifier and a high-airflow housing equipped with dual internal cooling fans. Combined with advanced heat-shedding coatings (Cerakote or E-coat), the 275L operates 8% to 20% cooler than incumbent large-frame alternators. This superior thermal management prevents performance drops and significantly extends the life of the alternator’s internal components.
