While we recommend using a Balmar MC-618 or MC-624 external regulator for peak multi-stage performance, this internal backup ensures your batteries continue to charge even if your primary regulation system encounters a fault.

Installation Notes
- Drive System Compatibility: High-output charging generates significant torque on your belts. While the 12V 100A model can operate with a single V pulley, the 24V 70A and 12V 120A versions require at least a Dual V pulley to handle the increased load. For the most reliable performance and to eliminate belt slippage, a Balmar AltMount® Serpentine Conversion Kit is highly recommended.
- Recommended Regulation: To achieve maximum charging efficiency and ensure proper battery longevity, we strongly recommend pairing this alternator with an external multi-stage regulator, such as the Balmar MC-618.
