I’ve given up being surprised where customers ask for assistance. From literally ‘up a muddy creek’ in France, to a remote island in French Polynesia. Sadly, having been there and done that as they say, I’m now perfectly happy to restrict overseas travel to the Isle of Wight; and only then if I’m home before dark!
Fortunately, a number of my contacts in the marine electrical trades, still get excited about working upside down in a cramped engine compartment while it’s 40C + outside. They enjoy the flight, the heat and humidity, the bugs, the funny food and dodgy water. They actually enjoy it! Funny how we change.
