Why do you charge a ‘restocking’ fee for alternators?

< 1 min read

When you order the wrong alternator or other high value product, it has major time and cost implications for us. Whilst we acknowledge your UK consumer rights if bought by a genuine ‘consumer’ in the form of a B2C sale, we do not extend this right to those making a purchase under a business or ‘trading as’ name. These will be treated as a B2B sale and our standard restocking fees will apply.

If you are at all unsure if the alternator you are ordering is going to physically fit, mount properly, or come with the correct pulley, then we strongly advise you consult a trained, insured professional.  Experience has shown this will save you a lot of time and money in the long run.
