If ordering for delivery outside of the UK, including the EU, we offer the following Incoterms –

• EXW
• CPT
• CIP
• DDU/DAP
• DDP

EXW – Ex Works

We make your order available at our premises for you or your agent/courier to collect. It is your responsibility to arrange collection from us, and you assume all responsibility for export documentation and clearing the goods through Customs.

If you’ve requested a quote for goods from us, this will initially be EXW unless you’ve specified an alternative term.

CPT – Carriage Paid

We arrange and pay for the carriage (at our quoted cost) to your specified delivery address. Your order is considered to be delivered when the goods have been handed over to the courier. The risk then transfers to you. You as the buyer are responsible for all import documentation required, and duties due at the destination country.

If you require insurance for your shipment, then you should consider Incoterm CIP.

CIP – Carriage and Insurance Paid

Similar to CPT, with the addition of insurance (at our quoted cost) for the goods while in transit. CIP requires us to insure the goods for 110% of the orders value.

DDU/DAP – Delivered At Place

We prepare your order for shipment, arrange and pay for the carriage and insurance (at our quoted cost) to your specified delivery address and complete all necessary legal formalities for exporting.

Once your order arrives in your country of destination, the customs clearance needs to be completed by yourself. This may include providing import permit(s), documents as required by customs, along with all customs duties and taxes.

DDP – Delivered Duty Paid

Similar to DAP with documentation, shipping and insurance arranged,  however, this term places the maximum obligations on us, and minimum obligations on you. You bear no risk or responsibility until delivery of the goods.

We, or more specifically our courier, is responsible for clearing your goods through customs in the destination country, including paying both the duties and taxes. We only use major carriers such as UPS, DHL and FedEx to deliver and process these orders.
